    Connection between this board and external apparatus is made by the interface connector on board.

    It connects with the apparatus in which current drives, such as a switch and apparatus of transistor output, are possible.
    External power supply for supplying current is also required for connection.
    The state of ON/OFF of the apparatus in which a current drive is possible is inputted as a digital value.
    8Input circuit

    Input circuit of the interface part of PIO-32/32L(PCI)H is as the above figure.
    Signal input part is Opto-isolated input (current sink output correspondence). Therefore, in order to drive the input part of this board, external power supply The power supply capacity which is needed at this time is about 5.1mA per input (the time of 12VDC about 2.6mA) at the time of 24VDC.

    It connects with the apparatus controlled by current drives, such as control, LED, etc. of a relay.
    External power supply for supplying current is also required for connection.
    ON/OFF of the apparatus controlled by current drive is controlled by the digital value.
    8Output circuit

    Output circuit of the interface part of PIO-32/32L(PCI)H is as the above figure. Signal output part is Opto-isolated open collector output (current sink type), and in order to drive output part, external power supply is required for it. The rating of output current is a maximum of 100mA per point.
    Since the low saturation transistor is used for output, it is connectable also with TTL level input. The remains voltage between collector emitter at the time of Output ON (LOW level voltage) is less than 1.0V at less than 50mA of output current in less than 0.5V and less than 100mA of output current.
    Zener diode is connected to the output transistor for protection from serge voltage. Moreover, the poly switch for over-current protection is attached per eight output transistors. If this function works, the output part of a board will be in the state which cannot be operated temporarily. In this case, please use it by turning ON power supply again after turning OFF a personal computer and external power supply and waiting for them for several minutes.

    What is VI-DAQ?
    VI-DAQ is VI library for using our abundant products, analog input and output, digital input and output, and a counter input device ( PCI bus / PC card / USB module). It is for LabVIEW of National Instruments. Various devices can be used easily, without carrying out a complicated setup, since it is created with the function form similar to the "data acquisition VI" of LabVIEW.

    VI-DAQ is created with the function form similar to the "data acquisition VI" of LabVIEW. Since a complicated setup like driver form is unnecessary, the system which used device of our company can create for a short period of time.
